Moon Park car cruise-in

With careful planning today, the Tri-State Chapter was able to have an impressive (for us) turn-out at the Moon Park annual cruise-in today. We had 7 cars in attendance (a record for us I think) and were actually able to all park together in a nice line, taking up a whole row. It was a site to see them all in line and the people loved them. The cruise-in at Moon Park is put on by the Moon Fire Department as a fund-raiser and the park is packed with 800+ vehicles. It is an impressive event. Here are some pics from our awesome day:

Like Being There

I just posted in the cooler post that I was sitting in Salinesville, Ohio with my 64 and I guy brings me a phone pick from his friend who was in Moon and sent him pictures of Duffy, Rishel, Teague and Skivolocke's cars. We were well noticed everywhere the PCS went today.:specool:

We really did have a great time today, and the weather was just perfect. Lots of lookers and lots of questions and very nice comments. However, when Dan in his ambulance, Mark in his hearse, and me in my hearse, took a loop thru the park - I overheard the following comments from people standing along the lane:
"What's with all these ambulances?" (one ambulance, two hearses!)
"Well. now that's different!"
"Is that a real ambulance?"
And my personal favorite, when a boy asked his dad what that car was -
"It's a hearse - that's where they put dead people when they die!"
