Drove by this car today. I believe it is a Miller Meteor Endloader Hearse, and it may be for sale.

Any ideas on the year?

hearse by the road

Jean-Marc,
Your pictured coach is a 1947 model. The grille on a 46 is a bit different. The later models were a lot different. This can not be a Miller-Meteor. The first Miller-Meteor was the 1957 model after the 2 companies were merged. So this could be a Miller. Or Maybe a Meteor. I think I got the Cadillac part right. Now we will wait on the coach experts to pin down the builder.
Thanks for posting this one.

Thanks. The script on the front side fender says Miller, nut the script below is missing most of the letters, so I thought it said Meteor. Maybe it said Cadillac.

okay its a 48

Okay, after seeing the dash this would be a 48 model. You can read the last 2 letters on the fender under the Miller. They are ac...the last 2 letters of Cadillac.
Now all we need is directions and the price. Well a price anyway. This looks like one someone should get soon.

I just spoke with the owner. The car is in rough shape and will require a lot of work.

He is asking $800 for it which covers what he paid plus the expenses to get it there.

If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll send you the contact information.

48 caddy

im not as smart about car values like most of you but that car is cheap in my opinion. buy it fix it or save for later. probaly 500 us? hubcaps are worth that. just my opinion. if it wasnt in canada and so far from texas id be calling jean-marc. :smileTEXAS:
