ATTENTION TO ALL GOING TO PIQUA, OHIO MAY 21-22, 2010 FOR THE MILLER-METEOR REUNION AND BOOK SIGNING.

If you are coming to Piqua for the next Miller-Meteor Reunion and the Book signing please contact Tom Caserta at 937-773-5840. The city is telling Tom they need to know how many cars are coming so they can mark off enough parking for us. This special parking area will be for procars only. If you want to email your info send me an email at karmann1946@yahoo.com You can also call me at 937-926-0911. I will get your info to Tom. Please include your name and the procar you will be parking downtown. Again this area will be procar only parking. The city wants to accomodate as many of us as possible. Tom needs your info by Monday evening May 17, 2010.

I'll be there as well with the 77 M-M! As I type this Christine is in the shop today getting new tires and some exhaust work done for the Piqua trip!

Thank you to all who have replied. As of 1pm EST we have 11 confirmations bringing coaches to Piqua. There is still time to let us know if you are coming and bringing a coach. The city officials are waiting for Tom to call with the final number. Remember, Monday night is the last night we can take info. With limited parking we want to get all of you in the special parking area with your procar.

Mike, unfortunatley I don't own a procar but, can you tell us what all will be going on there and when to arrive, where to meet and what events/tours are planned. Is there a formal agenda. I'd like to drive over there, see the cars meet some of you guys and get my books autographed. I'd appreciate any information you could supply.

The Comfort Inn behind the Miami Valley Centre Mall is the host motel for this meet. The mall and motel are located just off Interstate 75 at state route 36. The book signing is set to take place in the downtown library starting at 5 pm on Friday.
Go to the top of the PCS website. In the 'tool' bar type in Miller-Meteor Reunion in the search box. That will bring up Tony Karsnia's letter telling about the meet. For the latest info you can contact Tom Caserta at 937-773-5840. I talked to Tom earlier today. As of 1 pm Saturday we have 11 procars coming. We hope there will be more.

Thank you Mike. Sounds like it's really gona be a good show. I'm going to try to get over Friday evening. I really want to meet McPherson and get all my books signed.
 
I am planning to come into Piqua from the East on Rt 36, which appears to become Ash St. Piqua web site shows part of Ash being closed for the weekend's events. Will I be able to go far enuf West on Ash to reach the Comfort Inn?? Thanks.
 
I will be reporting in, in my 76 Duplex combo WITH suction cups with pictures of my 1964 Miller Meteor combination.:17875: But I want a ride in Brady's Lifeliner seeing I kindly quit bidding so he did not have to pay as much for it! I almost had it too and do ya think the guy so much as even offered me the copier that was in the back Nooooooooooooooooooo!

I was the only bidder. And then I offered it to you guys for the bid price so I didn't have to tell my wife, and NO TAKERS. Bet you now wish you had had more testosterone back then!!!!!!!!!! But anyway, you can have a ride in anything I own chief - anytime.

Jim,
Rt 36 is Ash St in the Piqua city limits. At least on the east side of town. The Comfort Inn sits just off the interchange with Interstate 75. As you are heading west on 36 and cross 75 the inn and Mall complex will be on your left. Take the driveway around to the right and to the back of the mall. The portico for the Comfort Inn is on your left. It is not in the downtown area but at the edge of town. I am sure they will have any detours marked. If all else fails call Tom.
Better yet just tell them who you are...that you are with the Miller-Meteor group. That and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee but you will feel so much better.

I know I bid on it one time, something happened during all of that that was screwey but I cannot remember what it was. Maybe I was planning on bidding and found out you were after it. Refresh my memory what happened, didn't they try to stop the auction? I remember it was something weird.
 
FYI I just booked my room, and according to the girl I spoke with I got the last room that was available for 2 nights in a row - and it is a handicapped room - the only difference is that it will have a huge bathroom, guess I can't complain about that!
