Might have to secure this '76 Lifeliner

Rust on those lower panels only works hard till it can get a hole big enough to drain out. In this one you would wonder about the door frames . I had a hard time finding a shop that could bend the profile fot the Eureka they had a tight step in them. But these are one 90 on the outside. So looks like 6 inches on the lower side of the doors and about the dam on the quaters. Then it needs striped and paint. So many people work there head off trying to cover up rust instead of cutting out and replacing. Replacing the trim would be the hard thing on this one. Probity get 20-25 grand in the repairs and interior. The last set of bumpers i did ran me 2600.00 + fright. Double that if a shop does it. But mosr ships today dont have anyone that will weld in new. Takes to long. I remember during the slow times the boss would send us out to get the take off panls and we would repair them. Keep them for inventory. Everything is repairable. You just got to want to do it.

I completely agree with Ed. So many people see a parts car over the littlest amount of rust. You can save most cars. Depends on how much time and money you want to sink into something. I've never been afraid of rust. But I like survivor cars, so those imperfections don't bother me. It's amazing how good even the nastiest car can look when it's detailed up It's complete, it's crusty but well worth saving. I'd rock it just the way it is. You just don't find these anymore. Once they are gone. Thats it.

It can still be yours, Jeremy!!

Kurt, do you happen to know this rig's lineage? I'm wondering if it last saw service with Ambulance Service Co. Inc. out of Denver, CO. They ran orange and white units, with blue font. They were eventually acquired by AMR in the mid-late 90s.
Breckenridge, MN and Wahpeton, ND are neighboring cities, it appears this ambulance served those two towns.

Breckenridge appears to be the home of the world's largest catfish.
