Calling all Chapters! You are invited to join MAC in celebrating its 25th anniversary year of being a Chapter--the oldest one in PCS!!
Dates: Friday night, August 20-Sunday morning, August 22
Location: Shrewsbury, Penn. - Upperco, Maryland area (near I-83)
Hotel: Hampton Inn, Shrewsbury, Penn. PCS rate: $109/night
(we have booked 15 rooms for both Friday and Saturday nights--please contact hotel by July 22 to ensure room)
Celebratory activities:
Friday night: pizza party, hotel meeting room
Saturday:
11:30 am -3:30 pm: big noon meal at nearby Friendly Farm, Upperco, Maryland ($19/head--chicken and beef), car display--vehicle and member prizes--and short program (with cake for all) to follow.
4:00 - ? caravan to and tour of Speedwell Garage, Parkton, Maryland (a fine historic car restoration shop); snacks and semi-restored vehicles on hand for your enjoyment. Proprietor Ross Miller is graciously hosting this event.
Sunday:
9 am - 11am: Before heading home, convoy to and enjoy a tour of Penn-Dutch Restorations, Glen Rock, Penn. Jeff Hammers, owner of this impressive restoration shop, a PCS and MAC member, will be on hand to give us a tour. He has a number of professional cars as well as others in various stages of restoration to feast your eyes on.
A detailed flyer will be disseminated in the near future to MAC members and those outside the Chapter who are interested in celebrating with us.
