Micro Meet Pics

great pictures! Thank you for posting!!! i have not been able to go to one of these and it does seem like much fun!! I particularly likes the car carrier with the '75/'76 Chevrolet commercial chassis!!

Dana.

Oh my gosh, I want to meet the kid who begs his parents for a lego funeral home playset! Oh wait, that was me!

Ok, I need to ask who has the Civilian Defense ambulance model, and where it came from! :) I'm going to assume George Hamlin, but I still need to get one of my own!

Thank you for sharing these photos! You guys have no idea how disappointed I am to have missed this year's event.

George Hamlin had two 1/43 scale Civil Defense Ambulance custom built keeping one for himself and the other one went to Brady Smith, I don't remember who built it.

Here are a few photos I took at the 2014 PCS Micro-Meet...

First and second photos... Starlight and Jimmy John's signs.
I only got 2 out of the 3 lunches at JJ as Brad and I had big burgers at Starlight Diner, that has been making great burgers since the '60s !

Third photo is the fabulous '54 Packard being restored by Brady Smith !
Almost completely done.

Fourth photo is one of my favorite models at this years meet. A transport truck loaded full of Commercial Chassis' heading to the coach builders to be built into a hearse, ambulance or combination !

Fifth photo is the incredible HEARSE, AMBULANCE, LIVERY, RESCUE, ETC. license plate collection owned and displayed by George Hamlin.

Sixth and Seventh photos are of the LEGO FUNERAL CASKET CAKE I made to go along with the expanded LEGO FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY I showed this year. It has grown to about 22 Square feet from the 4 rooms only last year.

Eighth photo is Attila with the cake I made for his birthday that was a couple days before the micro-meet.

Note: I just made the casket, Lego dead guy, flowers and Attila's face.
A friend of mine was paid to bake the cakes and provide the ingredients for the decorations.

As always, the 2014 Micro-Meet was a fantastic time shared with friends and cars of all sizes.

Darren
