Michigan Weekend UpDate

Let me begin with a great big "WOW"!. Man did I have a ball. Spent time with fellow PCS Michigan Chapter folks at their local cruise-in (offical meet or not). Enjoyed a few hot dogs and root beer. Spent Sunday morning enjoying the "Pill Lady's" special pancakes with Scott and family. Visited a few closed funeral homes, got my pump from Brady which is always a pleasure to see especially his treasure trove of cars, attended a wake service in a bowling alley, and then burgers at Scott's in the evening. Great Day!
Scott loaded me up with so much stuff my car got even worse gas mileage on the way home. Funny, I was headed south through Dayton at 2 a.m. only this time I gassed up in advance.
Had a great time with all.

Here are the gas pumps. Brady sold me the single station pump. I love them both.

See not much has changed up at Reigle's since our "visit" in back February.:snow_smi: Like the pumps, especially that Mobil stainless steel "drum" pump! Those were introduced about 1969 if I can recall correctly. You got two good pieces from Brady and Scott there! And that Buick of Scott's is a beauty in person too!

I remember when we were kids and wouldn't look twice at no Buick wagon just felt sorry for the person stuck with driving it. man times have changed. the Amoco pump I have used a lot. I do know if you have someone just bump it right, that the brake away will not close. you then can run 1200 gl of gas into the creek during the spring melt. of course back in 66 it was just one of those things. I can only Imagine what would happen today. we never would have caught it if the bosses kid had not said Hay there is something coming out of the bottom of this thing.

Shoot Richard, if I had known what you were up to I could have directed you to a matching Mobil Diesel/Kerosene pump in an antique mall in Toledo Ohio. You were right there!

If you want I can get you some Ohio State banners to cover up all that Michigan stuff. I'd hate to see you embarassed in front of all your friends...:thumb:

I will shut up

I was getting ready to say something about Michigan and that M light then I saw the bumper sticker on the wall supporting the Maverick and Sarah and I thought; well he is not all bad and does have some redeeming qualities.:smileflag:

Ewwww

Those colors are even uglier on a car than they are on a football uniform
