Michigan Member Dies

I read a death notice in today's paper for Stephen Hofsess. It indicated that he collected professional cars. I checked the roster and he was a member. I did not know him or am I aware of how active he was.

Do you know Jerry and Cheryl Bartis? They live in Shelby Twp. up there. Their daughter lives here in Dodge City and is a teacher here. Just wondering........... She and her hubby are good friends of ours and she teaches with my wife in the same grade school here. I don't know how big Shelby Twp. is but maybe you know them........?

Stephen was one of our longest members, with membership number 0496.. While I don't recall having ever met him, I am sure that he will be missed by his friends, family, and colleagues in the car hobby. May he rest in peace..
