Very interesting interior floor material on the M-M, it looks like the material that S&S used.

Great, thanks for sharing the photos!

(Another GB car?) The Monkee-Mobile is cool, though.

Cruisin michigan ave. Emergency response vehicle show

Thanks for the posting about the show. We had a total of 24 emergency response vehicles on hand. The majority of them were police related vehicles, but we did have some fire apparatus, a canteen from the Salvation Army and a monster tow truck as well. However, as was noted we did have three ambulances on hand. Also we had a present day ambulance on display from Rapid Response EMS.

We had planned for another two antique ambulances to be on dislay, but things did not work out. However, we are making plans for the third annual Cruisin Mihcigan Ave., Emergency Response Vehicle Display. So if interested in attending let me know by e-mail at ajr107@peoplepc.com. The date for next years show will be Saturday, July 9, 2010.

Also those vehciles that took part in this years display got an escorted police motorcycle parade down Michigan Ave., for a total of 10 miles.

Is the '67 ex-Hometown, IL?

Is the Voran FH car still owned by them? If so, I'm glad they kept it; they've been out of the ambulance business since 1971:

Cruisin michigan ave. Emergency response vehicle show

The 1967 Caddy was based in Illionis. However, since this area is known as the "Motor City" and with all of the car shows going on in the area, management thought this would be a better area for the car to been seen by the public.
