May 7-9th, 2010!
After being such a hit for the last 5 year’s we’ve decided to do this thing again as PCS and Volunteer Chapter Member Stephen Mayfield and the PCS Volunteer Chapter invite you to join us in Owensboro Kentucky, May 7th- 9th, 2010! Once again we have a fantastic agenda scheduled for you during your weekend with us in Owensboro! So bring your family, pro-cars and photo albums! Below you will find the weekend’s events, activities and other information!
Friday, May 7th
We will start our weekend off at Calhoun KY at 12:30 p.m. for a tour of the Muster Coach Company at 300 Main Street. Calhoun, KY 42327. and also the Muster Funeral Home! At around 4:00 p.m. we will depart from Muster’s and head back to Owensboro, get checked into the Fairfield Inn at 800 Salem Dr. Owensboro, KY, phone 1(270) 688-8078. Rates this year are $104.00(double) AAA discount $99.00 and AARP discount $88.00 with out tax per night. From there at 7:00 p.m. we will have a group dinner at the Moon Lite B.B.Q. Restaurant & Buffet (One of Indiana Chapter President, Larry Wilson’s favorite restaurants BTW!!!). From there we will head back to the hotel for pro-car fellowship and then turn in for a good nights rest for Saturday’s activities!
Saturday, May 8th
Good morning PCS! 9:00 a.m. breakfast at Denny’s next door to the hotel. After breakfast, we will head back to the hotel and take over the lobby and or parking lot to share our photo albums and literature collections with each other and to also fellowship and admire each others cars! We will head over for tour of MPH Industries a emergency vehicle light and equipment supplier during the late morning . After the MPH Industries tour we will head to downtown Owensboro and enjoy the annual BBQ Festival and tour the downtown area. Around 4;00 p.m. we will have a group dinner at Cracker Barrel! After dinner we will cruise over to Lowes for a 5:00 p.m. cruise-in that we have been invited to display and show our coaches at! After the cruise in we then back to the hotel for more pro-car fellowship!
Sunday, May 9th
For those who haven’t already headed home will meet in the hotel lobby for coffee and a breakfast buffet. After breakfast we will head back home. Thanks for joining us this weekend and have a safe trip back to your respective homes! See ya here again next year!!!!

From points south,
Coming from the south (from Tennessee on I-65 and from Eastern Kentucky) on the Natcher Parkway the parkway will end and you will need to stay in the left hand lane here and merge onto the US Highway 60 By-Pass. Next you will exit to the right on the Parrish Ave. exit and you turn left at the stoplight and the end of the ramp. You will now be on Highway 81. At approximately 1 mile HWY 81 will split, bear to the left at this split and follow the signs for Highway 81 and to Calhoun. Approximately 10 to 15 miles you will reach Calhoun and Muster Funeral Home and Coach Sales. Musters will be a ½ mile past the only stoplight in Calhoun on your left.
From points north,
For those coming in from Missouri, Illinois and Indiana and other points north take I-64 to 164 and head towards Evansville Indiana and exit off at the Owensboro-Newburg exit and cross over into Kentucky on the Blue Bridge. Turn right at the light at the end of the bridge. Proceed to through three stoplights and turn left at the 3rd light which will be Frederica Street. Go through four stoplights and turn right at the fifth stoplight which will be Parrish Ave. From here Parrish Ave will become Highway 81 (in aprox 5 miles). At approximately 1 mile HWY 81 will split, bear to the left at this split and follow the signs for Highway 81 and to Calhoun. Approximately 10 to 15 miles you will reach Calhoun and Muster Funeral Home and Coach Sales. Musters will be a ½ mile past the only stoplight in Calhoun on your left.
