Marilyn Monroe ?

There were two coaches in service at the time, and years ago I believe it was Ronnie Grubbs in CA. that it was a 50/50 chance he owns the one used. And yes, it was a 62 Eureka.

The only thing I recall was that Ron Hast of Abbott & Hast handled the funeral and it was their EUREKA Coach..... nothing further. MM

Ron Hast told me a number of years ago that he kept that car for a long time because it was used on her funeral. Some time in the late 70's or early 80's he was sending a bunch of hearses to the Philippines. He said he didn't know why but he decided to include that coach. He also said he didn't get very much for it. $1100.00 he thought! At the time we talked about it he still had the limousine that matched. That was around the time I purchased the 69 Abbott & Hast Ford that Adam has now.

I did own the ambulance (60 M&M) that transported her. I should have kept it, but owning two project cars was too much, so I sold it to a guy in Las Vegas. Never heard a thing about what he did with it. It was 48' RESCUER.
Metal was perfect, just had rusted out floors and need of paint. I spent thousands on it. Just go overwhelming and kept by 54XL. Strange thing about it though, the heater was not hooked up in back and at times the blower fan would come on and blow heat! I don't believe in ghosts, but
might be something to it?
