Mardi Gras-2010 Florida Chapter PCS

Oh what a night! We were welcomed with open arms at the Mardi Gras parade in New Smyrna Beach. The two ambulances excited the crowd and the Budweiser Clydesdales were there too. We led the parade behind the clydesdales so there was no siren for the possibility of scaring the horses. Not sure how it happened but Terri ended up with tons of beads. Got to watch her a bit closer in the future.
Enjoy!

Mentioning horses and parades reminds me of something here. The parades around here always have horses. A bunch of them! I'm talking 50+ most of the time! One of the first parades I did in Watertown was no exeption. It was the Fourth of July one year and I was running the combo in the parade, and you guessed it, every horse in town was in the parade as well! Well, everybody at the funeral home was wondering were I would be in the parade as I passed the FH!:thewave:
Someone said I bet we'll know where he is if there is a horse stampeed before the parade starts!!!!:horsepoop-1::beatdeadhorse5:

Looks like a fun time was had by all. Thanks for posting the videos. I'm envious of you for living in a warm climate where you can use your procars year round.

Yeah, and at one parade I was at, I recall Jeremy in his suit running out in the middle of the street scooping horse poop. At least the Clydesdales have their own personal pooper scoopers.... :horsepoop-1:

It is funny what you do to get some of those beads - crawl on your hands and knees to get them from under cars, climb on top of things to get them, push someone aside so you can get them first - and you can buy them brand new at a dollar store.
