Just a quick request but I bet the answer is out there in PCS land. I am making a display board for a car show tomorrow and was wondering how many ambulances, (particularly 48"vols) that Miller produced in 1968. We always get looked down at these shows by the muscle car guys but I would bet as far as rarity they made a lot more GTOs in 68 than pro cars. Any info is well appreciated.

Clark: According to Tom McPherson's BIG BLACK BOOK...there 4,216 (total) professional vehicles built in 1968, of which 2,651 were on Cadillac Chassis. No production #'s were listed for Miller-Meteor or Cotner-Bevington. Sorry MM

Of the 2,651 Cadillac built professional cars, there is no way to figure out how many were actually ambulances vs. hearses and the occasional flower car.
