Hey!

I was traveling to Albany last Monday morning, when I heard a noise under the car. I stopped and saw what appeared to be linkage, just hanging there!:eek:

With a pit in my stomach, I immediately cornered this lovely young lady, asking about a local shop to take the car too. She invited me into her office and made the call for me. WHAT HOSPITALITY! :cool: It later turned out to be a "radiator support" that was never re-connected when the engine was rebuilt 9 years ago! How LUCKY am I?

Anyway, it took the shop 10 minutes to resolve the matter... I was told it would be $5.00... and I gave the guy a $20 and told him to get lunch for his mates. They were MOST gentle with my car! As I left the shop, I returned to this young woman's office to say thanks... when she and another gal came out with a camera! A star is born!

Turns out, that those ladies ARE the Rigdeway Record! VERY COOL!:cool::cool:

Attached (hopefully) is the photo from the Record, that I found in my mailbox this afternoon! How GREAT is that!:D

I thought this was all leading up to viewing a photograph of the lovely young lady you cornered...who invited you into her office...who made the call for you...who came out accompanied by another lady with a camera...

Oh well... Your 1964 Miller-Meteor is a decent consolation. :D

Next, I suppose you're going to tell us that you stopped by there on your way home and they BOTH took YOU out to dinner when they found out you're a big car club prez now. :yum:

The next feature is sure to be much larger... :toocool:
