Lifeliner's new jump seat

This is one of the goodies Danny brought me last weekend. Still need to get it dolled up in orange but I think the jump seat makes the back look finished. Really no need to mount it so it flips over.

Thanks Danny Ryder.....

Both ambulances are in the local Christmas parade this Saturday and I know the jump seat will be a welcomed addition to the ambulance. Facing forward and able to see out the window.xmass

I hope to take the Criterion to the body shop one day next week to finalize it's bid for a complete paint job with rust removed and new metal put in. :pat:

Will this be permanent? Why use an S&S jump seat in an M-M?

Glad I Wasn't the First

I looked at the rear of that and said that is a
S&S seat.

your right there Danny, now if you only had two to give him I would trade him two MM for 2 S&S. better yet find me one 50s jump seat and he can have both MM ones. but they are red so no big advantage there. the black at least doesn't clash with the rest of the car. any one use any vinyl die?

I have 2 M-M jump seats that Richard can have for free. All he has to do is pay the shipping or come for them. I might even be able to bring them to Flint in February. I also have 3 Federal model 66G's that I will bring if someone wants to trade cash for sirens with me. Paul

Oh crap, see what you started Danny.:wowguy:

I didn't catch that and will have to make sure it is removed when at the 2011 meet so I don't get gigged. Paul, tell me the shipping charges and I'll send you a check. No sense bringing it to Flint since I'm flying up. Does it come in orange?

I'm just glad to have a seat not concerned about where it came from. If you look at this logically, it's all Ron's fault. Had he given an M-M seat to Peter Jennings instead of a S&S then Peter would have given Danny a M-M seat and Danny would have given me a M-M seat and none of this would have happened.

Right?

:drama:

if Paul's seats are anything like this set I have here taking the cushions off and getting them to her would be easy. being able to keep the stamped pattern from the MM would be priceless. I'm only going to use the iron out of this set here. they came out of a 72. I'm missing one completely out of the 53. they are simply made and a smooth covering so getting one that looks correct will be easy enough if I can find some iron that is made from pipe not cast. but I do have the floor that goes in the front of the one you put in. out of a MM. it would face to the rear. that was the way this ambulance was set up.
