Lifeliner tucked away

Got the Lifeliner all tucked away and ready for Saturday's show. Having a tropical depression through Friday but she is high and dry. A couple years ago I had two doors repaired where the lower portion of the door was cut off and new built. Due to the expense I had my guy just grind, sand, and treat the other two doors. Here it is a couple years later and there is no evidence of rust bubbles anywhere on the doors. I'm confident proper storage will extend the life of your car. Nice!

That is one good looking Lifeliner Richard!

I had not noticed before, but does your Lifeliner have the VaniShades in the rear?? My '74 does, but I don't believe that they were standard equipment on the Lifeliners.

It does and makes it nice when traveling having stuff in the back. It also helps retard some of the heat via sunshine.

That is one sweet lifeliner and you have taken great care and custody of it. However, it would really look great in Michigan, say in a city along the Michigan shoreline :p

But seriously, a really awesome rig.

Man I have worked hard to find a decent job in Michigan and would love to have my baby there, Terri too! I keep nudging Brady to sell but not ready and SCI no longer operates cemeteries in Michigan and I love the cemetery business.

It looks good with Mackinac Bridge in the background.

Thank you

Somebody said in Gettysburg you sold the Lifeliner. I am glad she is still in your capable hands.

Came very close only $1,000 apart. Glad he did not increase his offer not sure what I would do without her. And as we all know, Pro-Cars are a rare breed and getting more rare. One truly never knows what you're getting in buying another one and I don't think I could stand the challenge of getting one that needs a ton of work like this one did. It's not perfect, not even a 150 pt car in judging, but she is mine and I know every quirky thing about her. Ron Devies knows how bad she was and even told me, "I would just strip her and junk the rest".

Nice restoration Richard....

Like I said that car would look really good in west Michigan. Did I tell you I have a safe with money in it :p

I cannot believe I ever said that looking at her today. I must have been high on mouse crap fumes trying to clean her out.

Well the car show was a bust. We were still getting bands of rain from Hurricane Hermine which messed it all up. It started out as a nice day so Terri and I gathered up the Lifeliner and headed to the show. We stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast and just as we walked out the rains began, and I mean it began. The rain poured but thought we'll go to the show field anyways. We got there with only 6 cars we sat in the rain. We looked at the radar and it was not letting up for several hours. After sitting for 45 minutes we decided to head back. Oh well....
