Lifeliner pressed back into service, sort of!

It won't be transporting people but we have a family who requested one of the ambulances to be at the funeral home on display for her husband's memorial service on Thursday. The family was in on Saturday making arrangements while I was playing with the rigs. They just loved them and knew her husband would as well.
So tomorrow the Lifeliner (more bling) will be sitting out front as folks attend this service.

What a great service. Must have had 150 people there so the ambulance garnished a lot of attention. Couldn't take pictures with all the mourners checking it out. :4_11_9:

In talking with Terri this morning and seeing how well the Lifeliner went over at the service, we are going to try and set up a demonstration at the local church for the school kids. I would like them to see what ambulances looked like in the old days and if we have the local EVAC ambulance there to show them what they are like today. :specool:

you never know were this kind of pr will go. but EMS week should be coming up soon. you might thing of getting together with the local dept during that time.

I agree , adult's & kid's like seeing ambulance's and firetruck's etc. my mother was a teacher. and i used to bring the limousine down that i used to drive to show the kid's the limo even though i didn't own the car the owner took it as pr for the company. they also would arrange for the dare corvette to come out also from the local police dept. and yes the kid's need to see what was used , and what is being used today. richard keep it going and as ed said you never know where this pr is going to go.

The Pacific Northwest Chapter hosts a car show to benefit a local chrity and our feature vehicles are the hearses limos, flower cars, out of service & In service police cars, ambulances, fire trucks and tow trucks. We usually get a visit from the local fire dept as well so there are modern day rigs too. The display of vehicles draws a good sized crowd too!
