On this “Name that Coach Builder” we have this atrocity, a mid to late 80’s OldsmoBuick? It’s definitely, um……different. I have no idea who built it or why but this photo is from 1993 so it was fairly new at the time.

They took a four door, and added the front of a two door between them.

Were they a one-of-a-kind build as a prototype or did they go into production making them? Does anyone know if any of these unique vehicles have survived till today? Thanks

Back in the 1980s, Buick made a coupe version of its full-size LeSabre sedan. The person who bought this one decided they wanted to make a limo version of this coupe version of a sedan. You see the results.
This is a 1989 Buick LeSabre Coupe — which was a highly distinctive and rather unusual car — except it’s been turned into a limo. It appears this feat was accomplished by grafting together two LeSabre Coupe models, using the front half of one (up to the end of the front door) and the rear three-quarters of another (from the base of the windshield back). It’s one of the strangest limos I’ve ever seen, and it’s currently offered for sale by Mike Juneau’s Brookfield Buick GMC in Brookfield, Wisconsin, a Milwaukee suburb, for $17,995.
Interestingly, it looks like a tremendously professional conversion. With the exception of the odd window line on the rear half, caused by the A-pillar of the rear LeSabre Coupe, it almost looks like it was intended to be this way — and interior photos of the rear show a well-thought-out cabin with a rear-facing bench seat, forward-facing buckets and a huge console in the middle, possibly for a refrigerator or storage.

It does appear well made but damn is it ugly
Company building them i looked at a mid size fwd olds in a dealer ship in Il. The construction and interior lay out was the same
