Len's '60 Chev Hearse in CFD magazine

The grave "Digger" sent me these photos of Len Langlois '60 Chev pictured in the Canadian Funeral Directors magazine's last issue.

The cover story was on a funeral home in his part of ON that had recently renovated one of their funeral homes and had a grand opening. I guess Len had attended with his car and it was photographed and appeared in the article.

I also attached a couple photos of the same car at my first PCS meet in Chatham ON in 1993 when Fred Fiszer owned it.
A blast from the past.

Enjoy,
Darren

Len's service car was such a treat to see in person at Hudson. I took several pictures and talked to him about it. No one has ever been able to determine who originally built it he said, yet they certainly did a classy job...

the first time I saw this car was in King Sport. the man Len got it from had brought it down to the meet. I was so glad to hear in Hudson that he had acquired it. more like had it thrust on him. I would guess it's a home brew from the original funeral home. like Russ's 54 ford. all they need was a few cosmetic changes to the out side to have it fit there purpose. it's strange when a 62 year old in line 6 with a 3 by the knee low end Biscane takes center stage. but it is a well preserved will traveled car.
