The details on the auction site also list a "73 Cadillac Superior Auto", but unfortunately there are no photos of it.

it would be a national conversion if my understanding of the top is correct. the silly looking wrap kind of hides everything. but one cant be sure the nose would swap easily on them. so it could be a 72 with a 71 nose.

It is a 72' national that originally was in City County Ambulance Service in Rhinelander, WI. I have some pictures of it from those days. More recently it was used for promoting my business and recognizing 9/11. The vin is CKE262F147372 and on the title it states that it is a 72' not sure about the hood being replaced.

every one of those points can be swiped from 67 to 72 on all of this series. the egg great grill and park lights in the bumper were 71 years stuff

now the last time I got into this id on these I argued the other way and was reminded that ex lax would cure my condition. I swear from making a living swapping parts these that early and late 72 had different grills but the Michal does not confirm this. it does say there is a bow tie difference. I have worked on a 71 with a 70 grill and bomber on it. the man calmed it came that way.

but if this is a known truck I will go with 72 even though the only seen Id point is the review mirror.
