had to make a run up to the big city again today so made the round of some of my favorite stores. now we have talked about saving cars from the crusher and I have add a few on my save it for what comments. will here is another one saved. inside Dan spend a lot of time cutting bumpers in strips and welding they together for this eagle. the Henny is one of 3 cars here in yard that I know of. found my tail lights for the 53 Just don't want to pay 2 grand for them. there broken anyway.

one of the more note worth things with this yard, Moor's in Rapid city. you get to watch the car fall apart as they sit there. he has crushed out a lot of his stuff to get the numbers down on duplicated cars. but he keeps the price up on the stuff. everything in there from early 1900's (saw a 29 dodge bros touring car yesterday) to late 70's stuff. they are all priced up to and over inernet prices and he sells a few that way. this 53 wagon is typical of them. looks good on the out side but the entire interior is gone down to the door sills. the engine is there but every accessory has been removed. you would need a donor car or to use this one as a donor car to make a wagon again.
but it's rare (dam rare) and there for a valuable find. in reality not a bad pick apart if you had the car that needed parts. I paid this much for a grill and replated out of one. just that everything on the car I need is broken everything that is good I all ready have. we could use the engine and tranny to make mine a auto. but 2 grand for the core and then the overhaul is kind of high to me.
