PCS Northland Chapter Summer Spectacular
June 8-10, 2012
Twin Cities, Minnesota
After many years of hosting our annual “Spring Fling Meet” in early May, the Northland Chapter is changing things up a bit this year with a “Summer Spectacular Meet” that will be held Friday, June 8-Sunday, June 10, 2012 in the Twin Cities area. This year is a “trial run” for this event…a “prototype” if you will, with the expectation that this will become our popular annual event. This weekend offers more things to do for us “car folks” and the weather is sure to be better (no guarantees, but likely.)
Because we have a variety of events planned in different locations over the course of three days, we did not reserve a block of hotel rooms. If you are coming from a distance and need assistance arranging for one, please let us know.

Friday, June 8:
11:30 A.M. – We’ll meet at the Drive-In located in Taylors Falls, MN for lunch. http://taylorsfalls.com/
After lunch, we’ll take a two-lane road tour and see some cars including an old ambulance and a private car collection. The afternoon will conclude with dinner at Meister’s in Scandia. http://www.meistersbar.com/
Saturday, June 9:
10:30 AM – Meeting at Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud. http://www.millercarlin.com/
Bill Carlin will host a tour of his funeral home and (hopefully) some of his classic hearse collection. After lunch, we’ll be treated to a tour of the Roy Bernick car collection in St. Cloud. This is a spectacular collection that you won’t want to miss! Later in the afternoon, we’ll head back toward the Twin Cities, stopping off at the Anoka River Run Car Show in Anoka. http://www.anokaclassiccarshow.org/
