John & Patti's 1939 S/S wins again !

At the recent Trillium chapter PCS meet I had the privilege of having John ride with me in my 1962 Cadillac from Len's house to the hotel.

During which time John told me about attending a car show about 20 minutes from my house.

Well.... I just received the latest copy of Performance Improvements magazine.

John & Patti attended the Stage West Car show near 401 and Dixie Road in Mississauga ON and came away with a 3rd prize Peoples Choice award for their incredible 1939 S/S 3way Funeral Coach !

Congrats ! :clap:

They must be needing to put an addition onto their garage by now to house all the awards they have received for this award winning coach !

Very beautiful coach! It is very impressive to have our cars recognized in non-professional car shows. Well done!
 
Thanks for your kind comments re our hearse.
At the Stage Car Show we were asked to attend the Crusin' for a Cure (prostrate cancer) in Brampton, Ont. At this show the car club paid for PSA tests for men over 40 (who had a doctor's requisition). Over 600 vehicles attended. We were awarded one of twenty "Peoples' Choice Award. and believe it or not...the 1st place MEGASPEED award. We laughed because our hearse that does 50 mph tops, won. FYI--it isn't awarded for speed but rather is awarded by the Megaspeed Custom Car & Truck Show, Toronto
 
Johns coach deserves every win it gets. I first saw it in Flint, and I have to say it is a VERY beautiful car! It was the first time I have ever seen a carved side in person too!! I was parked next to it in Hudson and I think I drooled on it a little (or alot)!
