Some of us have been around the professional cars and the professional car business for a long time and have made a great many friends in so doing. As many of you may be aware, Joe Bunn is still with the Superior (Accubuilt) having survived numerous changes in management changes and is about to celebrate his 50th anniversary with that firm. While he could have retired some time ago, I believe that he thrives on the business and the people that he really doesn't want to leave. Woe be to all when he does. He’s the only man left there that really knows and understands the coach business, much less the proud history of the Company....a history in which he has participated. Let's all raise a glass to Joe and his tireless efforts to serve the motoring needs of the professional vehicle user as well as all of the funeral car and ambulance enthusiasts out there. He deserved to be recognized and commended for everything he has done and continues to do. Here's to you Joe. Thanks.

When I bought my 1996 S&S Masterpiece last fall, I contacted S&S and asked if they might happen to have a brochure left over from that year. Not only did Joe send me a 1996 S&S brochure, but a copy of the original build-sheet for the car I purchased! Congratulations Joe!

I think that Joe Bunn was present at Superior Coach, when The PCS was there, back in 1995. They treated us very well and fed us well, too. Some of us picked up our copies of The History of Superior from Mr McPherson himself. It was a fun day!

Joe is great.

Whenever I am near Lima I stop at the plant and Joe treats me like family. Congratulations to him on that 50 year mark.

When I read "Joe Bunn" ..... I said out loud NO !

Then quickly opened it up... to my delight... it was about his 50 years of service. :applause:

Whhhhoooo I thought it may be for the requirement for a premium example of a fine hearse for his own service. :(

DON'T WRITE TITLES LIKE THAT BOYS !!! YOU FREAK US OUT !!!

Bill, I was there in '95 too for the release of the Superior book with a copy presented to the President at the time, Don. That was a great day.

I always look forward to talking to Joe at the meets. He is a calm, cool and collect guy who shows up and enjoys the meets like the rest of us PCS members.
