I've seen ads for large photos of cars, planes, etc., that get attached to your (closed) garage door...........but has anyone ever done this with photos of YOUR OWN ambulance, fire truck, etc., on the door? It would be a real conversation starter for folks driving by?

Let me know!
 
Dan, Peter Adsten did this for the enclosed carrier he used The back, and I think the front were images of the back and front of his ambulance. Sorry I don't have a pic.
 
Be prepared for visits from the neighborhood busybody & Town Zoning.

Tell the nice Zoning person it's a "Work of Art". Most municipalities forgot to cover Works of Art in their Code, and they leave you alone when they find out what it will cost to implement such Regulations.

We have very strict sign regulations where I live. Bud spent years trying to get a permit for a sign for his small mower shop, no go. The bicycle with the front wheel replaced by an old mower sitting atop a 6 foot pipe was clearly ART. It attracted spandex clad bike riders to get their picture taken with it. Town told complainers it was ART, go away.
