Its all about the people you meet

Just got a phone call from Ed Renstrom. He is here in Western Washington visiting family so I am going to drive down to the Olympia area to meet him for lunch. We have met before when he has been visiting so its nice to be able to visit again. I'll dust of the Lincoln hearse and drive it down and make a real pro car day out of it!

It would be fun for me to drive 2.5 hours North to meet you all, as well. But alas, working for the man and getting ready for 2 family Christmas gatherings take higher priority. Happy B-day Ed.

:thumbsup:Say Hi to Ed for me as well. Rick, I'm confident you will show him the PNW warmth (albeit a bit damp). With a bit of lead time, maybe when Ed returns in the future we can make a day out?

Doug, Bill, and Greg:

and all the rest of you Pac Northwesterners: Mark APRIL 11th, 2010 on your calendars as we will once again be hosting the Emergency Vehicle & Pro Car Show in the Seattle area. Lets see if we can convince Fraser to come down. I know that he knows the way; he came down for a Tri-Five Chevy show this last summer and didn't tell me he was coming! Even if your pro car isn't roadworthy (this means YOU, Bill) we would love to see you guys! And drag Cliff along too! I would love to make our FOURTH show a truly international one. We DID have a Buick hearse from BC come down last year, so theres no excuse!

Sounds good to me, Rick. I'm not sure the Criterion will be ready by then (although I'm motivated to try), but the Superior would certainly enjoy the trip. If they're both ready, maybe I can convince Bill to drive one of them down.

I think we all need to start lobbying Fraser. :D

Currently working that day

:(I'm currently scheduled to work that day but I'll see what I can do.

Ed

On this same trip, Ed was doing a 70 mile round trip out of his way to inspect and photograph a car for me. It is deeds like this that make the PCS family what it is. THANK YOU, ED!

And while I'm doling out kudos, many thanks to Danny Ryder for the early Christmas gift; a pair of red high-beam headlights for my Lifeliner. THANKS, DANNY!!

did get to touch base with Rick again. he suggested Norma's burger joint. always go with a local trucker they know the best places. good to visit again. hate your weather. nice to see the S&S out and about one more time. my wife and I almost died laughing when we return to the daughters house that was a man out in 6 buckle over shoes a snowmobile suite and a fur lined parka with the hood up. I mean it was cold for you but 50 deg and drizzling !! give me a brake. we did not get up to freezing till we dropped over the coastal range. it got a low as -7 in Mt. I though we would keep the snow for the grand kids but it rained if off was we dropped down to sea level.
Tony I got you pictures all most. will at least I saw the car. I'll be a bud and take it off your hands for about half what you got in it. you were right it is a small town population 250. send them later.
