It's a Flxible!

Well, some of you may know that I sold the 1977 combo. So, I was looking for a new procar. While I knew that the GaFatta had his Flxible for sale and we had talked, we had not made a deal, until last night.
At any rate, we are now the proud owners of Bill's 1964 Flxible. We are looking forward to having the car and we thank Mr Wright for a great deal!
If our moderator happens to have a picture of it and feels like changing my avatar, I would really appreciate it. I feel kind of bad having someone else's combo as my avatar, it is like having a picture of somebody else's wife in your pocket, not that I have experienced that feeling, I am just thinking out loud.

the story I got was that it was a combo that was never used as a Hearse. but put into service as a ambulance. it's still a combo and could be used as a Hearse at anytime. all you need is a rack. as the car like a lot of others was ordered with out rollers. I never asked Bill if the lights were demountable. I would guess the speakers were not nore do I know if the original color was red and white. it it had been changed it was not noticeable. I know we did judge it at Albany and that had we had the class in place then it would have taken home a trophy in the combo class. most likly beat me out for second place. as a ambulance it did not score high enough at that meet to get one. still a nice car needing only a little to bump it up. Steve do you have a pictures of it earlier? Know Bill M would like to get one if he could. as I would l like to see how it was originally set up.

I know that it is a combination, no problem for us. But, we like it best in it's ambulance form, so it will stay that way for as long as we own it. And, it was not always red & white, Bill says it was green when he got it.

Even if it is a combo it looks great as a straight ambulance. I really liked it in Flint. Does anyone have pics of it when it was green? For some reason I LOVE green coaches but still have not owned one yet.

it was a good job of repainting they got it down into the engine room also. one could see it had fresh paint on it but it looked to be over existing red.
here is one of the engine room

Congradulations Bill. You deffinently got yourself a beautiful car. And for at least the next day or 2, it is still the featured car in the PCS calender.

You are never too old !

...and if you did have a heart attack during the action, get her to hit the lights and siren, and put the pedal to the metal !
