In Honor of National Nurses Week......

My wife was talking to a fellow RN in her unit last week,telling her that her husband (me) had finally found the ambulance that he wanted....what she did not realize was that her someone also heard the converstaion.....so last Friday my wife was called by Kaiser Oakland (headquarters)..public relations....my wife not knowing what was going on was surprised to learn that Kaiser wanted the 72 to put on display in the courtyard of the campus she works at......of course my wife said YES......so here are a few pictures...today was "Retro-Nurse" day and lots of nurses wore their vintage uniforms......
The day was very enjoyable with temps hitting 92.....and the ambulance was the talk of the campus !!
They have already booked us to represent Kaiser in the Holiday Parade that they sponser......so I will have to get "Kaiser" nameplates made....because that would like "Their name on the rig.....

And ohhh yes Happy Nurses Day to ALL those hardworking RN's !!!!! :thankyou2:

the car looks like it was a hard run in. sitting cross ways with all the doors open. but just so you know LPN's are nurses to.

I did NOT mean to leave ANY NURSE out !!
Of course this week is a tribute to ALL nurses and so should be recognized !!:applause:
 
I have heard rumors about those wild nurses, are they true? Happy Nurses Day! And that ambulance is looking mighty fine too!
 
Nurses and medics,oh the stories that could be told !!,however they deserve much more than 1 day,they are truly angels of mercy,that unit looks great also:smileflagcan:
