Well, yesterday i went to the wisconsin state fair, and on the way driving there the case of cant rember s#^*. "C.R.S" it hit me i forgot my camera. I rembered that bell ambulance of milwaukee should be there. They had their 38 buick ambulance there, it was restored very nice. great car up close, not just in pictures. The info page that they had stated that it was used by the va hospital in millwaukee till the 60,s or 70,s. then got sold and the owner found it in texas and had it brought back in 1997, i think then started to get ready to restore it. One of the employees at there booth said he thought he paid like 500 bucks for it in 97. Sound pretty cheap i dont know about that, maybe? The car also had it original stretcher in it also. The other thing that i thought was intresting was the mount on the roof for the siren, the body was built up under the mount to make it sit straight. done also very nice. Hopefully i will run into it again with my camera so i can get some detail photos of it.
