I Drove It

Ron Devies

So this afternoon I had to go pick up the 54" from it's spring go over. In the bay is sitting my new 64. Tim is telling me everything he has done and what more it needs when he says "take it out and drive it". I was kind of taken off guard and asked him to repeat himself and he did. He said you own this car and you have never drove it. So I backed it out of the bay after it fired right up purring like a kitten. We took it out for a few miles, this could end up being my favorite. The car handles and shifts so smooth. It is just a very pleasant car to drive. It still needs a new heater core and to have some exhaust work down but it is coming along nicely. It could be home this week yet.

driving it

Ron,
Glad you got to drive the new one. Too bad there was not a camera on the sun visor. I would bet you were showing every tooth with that grin.
I can't wait to see it myself.
Mike

Hey Ron...
Congrats on your drive today.... you should have brought it by my place, I can't wait to see it !!!!!

nice part of having a good car on the tow rig is if the truck fails you can still get home in style. been more then once in my life I realised I was towing a better car then I was driving.
