Yesterday, my copy of Walt & Tom's book on Carved Funeral Cars arrived. WOW! Terrific piece, especially the color photos toward the back. Walt got a couple terrific photos of my '39 Eureka hearse when the Ohio Chapter visited Auburn Indiana, shortly after I purchased the car. It didn't run well at all, needing all sorts of work to make it dependable, but I took a risk and drove it to Auburn for this group to see. Little did I know that Walt had snapped these amazing photos.

Of course, after seeing and hearing John McCullough's '39 S&S LaSalle in Flint, I pulled the engine and had it rebuilt, so now it's running great. The car will be exhibited this year at Cadillac/LaSalle in Columbus, if anyone wants to see it.

Congratulations and thanks to Walt & Tom for another terrific publication, further advancing our hobby.

It is a good book, everyone should have one for their collection. Lots of interesting fact/pictures. Tell your friends and family to buy it for your birthday.
 
I recently also got my copy of this fascinating new book. Tom tells me that he and Walt will have a limited number of copies of this book for sale in Hudson and will be there to autograph them as well. For those wanting any of their other books, I'm sure they'll also have copies of these for sale there as well.
 
I also own this book and tom is right on the contents of this wonderful book. it is a must see and a must have. bravo to Walt M.P. McCall and Tom McPherson
