Huron County Museum Horse Drawn Hearses

While camping this weekend we went to the Huron County museum in Goderich, Ontario. Goderich is located about 100 miles north of Port Huron Michigan and the Bluewater Bridge. What a hidden gem of a museum. They had a funeral service exhibit which included 3 horse drawn hearses including one specific for children. They also had a display of vintage caskets. Unfortunately the exhibit wasn't well suited for photography.

The town, area and specifically the museum are well worth a visit.

I visited that museum two years ago and was really impressed with what I found. Although crowded, I did manage to take some photos.

We need to pick a date to do Lakeshore. Let me know when you're back. - Walt
