How do you find....

There were only so many Criterion's built in 1974. Therefore, how would you find which number your Criterion was when it was built?

The production records from Miller-Meteor are lost to history. However; I spoke with Joe Grimes, who co-designed the Criterion, and he stated that there were only 150 (50 per year) Criterions built during its three year production run.

Criterion History

Tony Karsnia and the Northland PCS Chapter have a complete archives on Criterions.... even the rusted out one I had for a while from Nebraska with details down to the type of flooring etc. MM

the number of the car is in the MM number. it will start with the year the number after this is were it was in line. but they did not just build them one after the other. there was any number of other cars in between the cars. one thing I have never seen is 000 number. so they must have started at 1000 of something like that. the tag on the door is it is still there will give you the date it was built. will down to the month anyway. that was close enough for them. if it's gone then start comparing everyone's number and there build date and you can get it close. you'll never guess who's car I took this pictures of
