How do you edit your post when the edit icon is not there ?

You have a short period of time to edit the post you made. After that you can ask the website folks to do it for you as you have no way yourself.
Would be nice to be able to but I'm sure there is some reason you can't.

Currently set to a 30 minute editing limit.
once you hit summit reply the edit post will appear in the lower right. click on it and you can edit

I'm pretty sure you can only edit the message area once you click submit. You can not edit the title, even if you are within the very limited edit time window.
Oh, buddy. We aren't worried about one-letter typos here. Have you seen the spelling and grammar around here?
The title can be edited; go to "advanced" when you modify the post.
