Horsedrawn thru Early 20's Hearse and Ambulances Photo Thread

I know there are a bazillion threads going for this and that but I dont think we ever got one of this type going. I happen to love early photographs showing the undertaker sitting proudly on top of his horsedrawn hearse with a team of horses ready to do a funeral. The styling leading up to the mid 20's coaches tends to lean to more ornate woodworking and is equally fascinating.

Here we go....most photo's were culled from years of mindless surfing on the net ( which I still do).

About 15 years ago a collection of Riddle Factory photos hit ebay.....Mike Reifer, Rance Bennett and I were in a frenzy as they all ended within like a minute of each other. We each ended up with a few. I remember the days of typing "hearse" in the search tab on ebay and finding 40 items...tops, not the bazillion that come up now.
