Highway 11 Car Club cruise photos

I took my 1960 S/S Victoria to the cruise lately.

Here are a few photos of my car, some muscle cars, the club parking lot cart (with light bar!) plus my favorite non-procar that showed up.

Its every tuesday night,6PM till dusk,Newmarket.Ont 17860 Yonge St. in front of the home depot.From May 22,2012-Oct 2,2012.google hwy 11 cruisers for their web page,Darren is out of town for a few days so just pretend I am his temp,sekrtrie.:rofl:
 
I'm getting to old I guess the 20 inch wheels and rubber ban tires just don't go on a shoe box car. that's why the call it custom it's just for you.
 
well newmarket is a weeeeee bit to far to go for a cruise for me.....I'm about 2 hours from there but you never know, I may get really bored one Tuesday

I agree. it seems almost every classic or muscle car aroung here has 20"+ wheels with the low profile tires. To me this will never look right on the older cars.
Also we have a lot of very stupid looking cars that have 30+ inch wheels and the car sits as if they are on four wheel drive frames.

I like the smoke stacks on the golf cart.

I agree 100% on those big wheel and almost no tire on OLD cars.

That was my favorite car that showed up because the condition of the car was outstanding. Im taking about the paint, the chrome, the (altered) interior. Everything about it was SHOW car condition.
Under the hood was amazing.

I am one of those old school guys with old cars and believe the tires should have a big sidewall.

The new big rim thing isn't for me !

That was the only Tuesday I showed up at that cruise myself.

You are welcome to arrange to stop by and see my cars. It is about 10 minutes from that car cruise. 4 minutes from the top of the 404.

It's worth the drive to Queensville !
