help i'm stuck in sterling and i might not get up. anyone got a water pump for a 86 caddy with the 4.0?? the good news is the AC lasted till the belt came off. we will try for repaires and punt. we only had a 1000 to go
 
hay I got one of them don't need another. we lost coolant running down hw 20 in IA. just west of waterloo. thought about call john but we made a few calls around and could not do aney thing till monday there. we were west of our night stop by 168 miles. so elected for a long truck ride to Il. we get back out there Rick I tell you what that was. if we can get parts tomorrow we will be there late. but right now we are snug at my step daughters house. scott might never get that siren. we decited to get here as if anyone is around there are enough family and friend to get us home anyway
 
water pump

ed,called my guy who owns parts store. he has pump and probaly anything else for your limo. i will overnite any thing you need. let me know. ill send ya a bill next month, dont worry about it. let me know what i can do. no problem we can take it off of my future bill as i think i will have one....kyle
 
It never fails, every year at least one person has car trouble on the way to a Meet. I have been stuck at least a couple of times myself. No matter how well you check your car, or how many things you have replaced, it can still happen. I hope you get back on the road to Daytona early! Good luck!

You should have got ahold of me when you were by Waterloo, Im only a half hour away. Im not sure if you can get to the waterpump without dropping the engine. Thats how mine was done, may have dropped it to make it easier. Virgle Onnen is also in or near Sterling.

4 bolts to drop the sub frame. if the man is familiar with the car it's fairly easy as they say. that was the way they did the AC repair when I got home the last time. we have a good lead here tomorrow. Larry and Virgil are out of town. but the kids are here and i spoke to Virgil on the phone. we will be on our way tomorrow come H or H water. John trust me you were next i just figured that your spot would not be any faster and we would need to get the car down there to. did i meet you on 20 Saturday or are there 2 49 combos here?

Wasnt me, i was on 20 Sunday but had the Superior Chevy. Any chance you got a pic of the other 49? Do you know the coachbuilder? I dont know of another one in the area, but that dont mean anything.
