Brackets
Atti; These are cool but only really desirable as collectibles if they have the correct, original matching 'brackets' w/ holding-screw to fix them to the window posts. The small one had a fastener that allowed the vase to clip into it while the larger one had a sterling silver 'hoop', for the lack of a better term, that screwed into the window post. I saw some in a Henney years ago. The larger one really just needs cleaned up. I mounted a few pair in the newer hearses for 'effect' but, it's hard to justify drilling holes to hang them. The last thread was correct; they were primarily used in Limo's and large Sedans for overcoming the odor of wet mohair, damp leather seats or just for beauty. I had over 100 at one time. I even mounted on next to my wife's boudoir and it looks great- if any members are trying to think of a great Christmas gift for the wife!
