Car Cover

Mike,
I have ordered 6 covers over the years from
California Car Covers.... http://www.calcarcover.com/ from a "standard" cover to a "custom" fit cover..they always offer great material and quality stitching...and customer service is pretty good too...

Mrs. is a DIY type, handy with a sewing machine,so when we got quoted $500 for a custom fit cover(about 10 years ago) she had me measure our car,and get 2 of the biggest passenger car covers from Checker. Then she cut the front off one cover, the back off the other, and stitched them together. Works fine for an inside and occasional outside cover.

Same as well, they are excellent fit. They are expensive but worth the quality, not some cheap product.
I bough me a all weather cover for the 86 when we got it in 05 it has only been stored in side one winter while I have had the car. I'm just now looking at replacing it. you get what you pay for with these things. decide on what you need dust cover or all weather cover and they are priced accordingly

About a year ago or so, someone suggested a place in Canada I think that made nice covers for Pro Cars. I can't find the name, nor the email response that I got back from them (I had ordered a cheap one already by then and just made due with it.)

Does anyone know which place this is?

I, too, have had covers from California car cover. Great fit. Recommend you fold a piece of cardboard over the hood orniment to protect the cover from the sharp edges.

I have a '73 Cadillac as well and I bought a cover from California Car Cover. It works fine, but the problem I have it that it's too long from top to bottom, so it drags on the ground, soaking up water and getting all dirty.

it's long so that you can tie it from eyelet to eyelet. use a long bungee cord toss the rake under the car and use it to drag the cord to the other side. the cover will never blow off

Not even a season, 2 weeks before the top cover turns to flakes and your coach looks like its in a snow globe... Avoid the $100 ebay hearse covers, they say lifetime warranty but its not worth going back every month...
