possibly a cot that was made by the old washington mortuary co,before they merged with ferno.Ihave never seen one with a retractable canopy like that one!

The head end of the cot is curved like some of the Bomgardner cots,,,,the baby carriage style canopy would be useful to keep the rain and snow off folks on the bed,,, wish they still had something like that!

looks to me like it was a movie star thing for privacy. a lot more dignified then a sheet thrown over the face. but then now days if you loading them in a mini van you all ready lost the dignity.
