Great to meet fellow PCS people...

Got a call earlier this week from PCS member Peter Jennings of Georgia. He said he was in Florida and would like to swing by to see the ambulance and say "Hi". I contact Bill Wright and arrange to meet today at the funeral home and grab some lunch. I guess in the future I need to ask, "Which ambulance?" since Peter did not know I purchased a Criterion. What a nice visit with Peter taking the pictures this time. We shared a few stories about our cars and his lovely wife Donna, is a pro-car guy as well. Peter cleaned out his inventory and is down to one hearse which he got from Danny Ryder but it is his place to tell that one.

Drive safe Peter and Donna and look forward to seeing you in Albany.:D

Where's my Victoria? I always told Peter, if he ever wanted to get rid of her, I would buy her back.

I am glad it is in a good home, that is what is most important to me. I bet she is really looking good right now.

Thanx for contacting Bill Wright for us too. It was indeed a great pleasure to meet you and to see Bill again. The last time we saw Bill was Daytona in '04, our FIRST outing with our (now Wayne Guys) white '86 Eagle Pontiac. The fellowship was great. The cars pretty good too!;)

As Danny has already said, he has the combo now. It needed more than I was able to provide. At least it's still in the PCS. I publicly apologize if you feel I did you wrong. I, too, expressed the concern to Danny, that if and when he tires of it, that it at least stays in the PCS. But...its not my car anymore, I can only hope.

I made a deal with Danny for his 85 Eureka limousine style coach.:D:D Based on the info he provided, along with receipt documents, it is a rare car and the things it needs are relatively small and doable by me.

Hey Peter, what else could it need. I've been told it has already received about a $100,000 in repairs and restoration work.

Front impact bumpers,(on order), some casket rollers are marked up (on order). The restoration wasn't really a restoration. It was repainted in 98. Holding up very well, I might add. :D During the repaint, it was completely blown apart. Doors removed, glass removed, striped to the bare metal. In 1998 dollars = 29,000 dollars!!! Imagine the same job today..:eek:
