Got a visit from the PCS Inspector today!

Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020

September 12, 1971 - November 2, 2020
So I get this call from a guy who says he needs to do an inspection of our PCS chapter this morning. Knowing that the Florida Chapter was recently visited, this didn't surprise me, especially just before the Int'l Meet. I had a few odds and ends to finish up at the funeral home this morning prior to being away for the week, so I asked him to meet me there. He gladly did and I figured I'd better at least wine and dine the guy a little. Since this was Sunday morning, I took him to breakfast at the Copper Dome, one of our neighborhood favorites and introduced him to his first Polish and cheddar omelet. He raved about it and I was thinking the inspection was going quite well. After a wonderful visit, we returned to the funeral home. Knowing that this fella is somewhat of a Lincoln guy, I thought he might look favorably on me if I showed him a nice one, so I pulled the hearse out of the garage. After insisting that his photo be taken by it, I thought, "Whew! We're really making headway now!"

Guy shakes my hand, thanks me for a great visit, hands me cash for Northland Chapter dues renewal, and says, "your chapter passes with flying colors!"

:071:

Thanks, Kent! Enjoyed spending the morning with you. Safe travels and we'll see you in Hudson!

WARNING: Prior to pulling out of our parking lot, the Chapter Inspector was checking his list, plotting his next surprise visit. I don't know where that will be, so be prepared! :D
