Gilmore Museum, anyone????

Tom Hoczyk

PCS Past President
The Michigan Chapter is having a dust-off visit to the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan on Sunday May 15. Please reply here if you plan on attending. I'm trying to get an idea of how many people are coming. If you have never been there, be prepared for a classic car feast! Google Gilmore Museum to get a better idea. The place is totally amazing, being the home of the CCCA, Pierce Arrow Museum, Franklin Museum, and soon-to-be-built Cadillac_LaSalle Club Museum. I'm planning to bring one of the cars that hasn't been to PCS for a while. Tom

Nice gas station. Would like to have that in my backyard!

Attend if you are able!

Unfortunately, I am unable to accept the invitation to attend this meet due to other commitments here. I did want to chime in, however, in support of Tom's comments that the Gilmore is a "must visit." It is one of those places that is pure heaven for the old car enthusiast and provides an interesting and educational element even for those who are not "car people" per se. If you have even a remote opportunity to attend the upcoming meet, do it.

I look forward to visiting again when the Cadillac & LaSalle Club museum is complete.

History of Gilmore Car Museum

My kind of woman :D

"It was Mr. Gilmore’s wife who suggested the idea of turning the collection into a museum where future generations could enjoy the restored cars for years to come."

Wish I could be there with all of you. Maybe next time...

But, I have added it to my extremely long list of museums I will visit one day!
