I was thinking of 3 letters and they weren't OMG
After reading this post and now a dodge! I went and just for fun binged "ghostbusters car". Wow some people have no boundries. I found 19+ makes and models have been what ever you want to call it, hard to say conversion, into g/b cars. They range from mini coopers to ford taurus to a vw bug and a flock in between. Check it out for your self...its sad...the poor cars!!! Anything to make a buck $ today i guess.
Don't kill me, but as a Ghostbusters and Hearse fan (they can coexist). It's a double edged sword. Yes, they are defiling some of these beautiful old cars. I wouldn't personally do something like that (Not that the thought hasn't crossed my mind)
As I have stated before, I intend on going normal for my coach as I would like to be able to drive it around on more than just Halloween and it can look very cool just as it was originally intended.
However, the current color scheme that Art had the car painted, allows me to have a little bit of fun in the meantime. I have magnets that come on and off easily (not that it matters much as the paint is shot anyway). And I occasionally put them on and drive around.
I can tell you from first hand experience that in normal mode... you get a lot of jeers, and the occasional thumbs up from the really cool people. With the magnets on, it's like night and day. It's like I am driving my own parade with the cheers and thumbs ups and "Hey Ghostbusters" and people get a kick out of it. I can understand when you're not going for the Ghostbusters thing and people say it, it can be annoying.
While I won't finish my car like that, I can (to a degree) understand why people do.
I know it's fun to bash the ghostheads, but just offering my perspective.

the magnetic sighs are the way to go I had a full set made up for my 72 hight top that would put it in full military dress. I get the fun. some were I have a bumper sticker that says put the fun back in funeral. I just can see the 24 -7 play day or Halloween. if we we were closer we would do the trip to Hell Mi. have a little fun with friends and cars. but like yesterday we were driving the 86 6door and some person has to ask was that a limo? you either get amused by people or PO. me I choose to be amused. got enough going on to be mad about I don't need any more.
