GE Powercall Siren

A friend picked me up a rare GE Powercall Siren for $10.00 at the Frankenmeuth, MI Fire Muster this past summer. It looked pretty rough and was nonoperative. I dropped it off at my local shop (a Whelen/Federal Signal Distributor) and within a couple of hours it was operational and looking not too bad. A coat of paint it will look quite respectable in the 73. They are selling for $500 to $800 on Ebay, and are few and far between. I will post some more video on the weekend when I can use a camera that takes more than 10 second videos.

Steve,

Don't know about another $10.00 one, but my friend who found the one for me, sent me this earlier today: "Original GE Powercall siren for sale. Excellent, working condition. Has not been used in 10 + years. Pics available. $500. medicallocal@charter.net" Will keep an eye out, have a number of people watching for them
