I was out cruising in my 60 hearse today. Such a great feeling. :thumb:

I had to stop for gas, as I often do. :pat:

I put in the magic number when filling my hearses ! :specool:

By the way, premium is at 1.39 a liter. :4_11_9:

Not even close to full at 66.60.

WHO CARES ! Get out and go for a drive !!! :drive2:

Enjoy your ride,
Darren

No need to worry about gas anymore, Obama is releasing 30 million barrels of crude so "There is plenty of gas for everyone!".

None of the released oil is going to go North of the border... This is for US consumption only... :alc: Brings the expression "Canada Dry" to mind............

Canada: the largest oil supplier to the United States

Since 1999, Canada has been the largest supplier of U.S. crude and refined oil imports. In 2009, Canadian crude oil and petroleum products represented 21% of U.S. crude oil imports, at nearly 2.5 million barrels per day, or 13% of total U.S. oil consumption.

Canada is the world’s 6th largest oil producer. In 2009, Canada’s total oil production was 3.3 million barrels a day; output is expected to rise further with increased development of oil sands.

I filled the Pontiac up a week ago Sunday $62. The Oldsmobile Saturday $66 the van was yesterday at $40. I am out of money so the 54" and 64 have to wait but they are low too.

funny thing about that exported oil. if you check your importing refined product to. same as we are. they truck this oil half way around the world before anyone gets to use it. :pat: below 99 bucks a barrel here now but gas is still as high as it was at 170 a barrel.

That's because when the price increases, it's done automatically, but when it goes down, they have a little old man on a walker go out and lower it.

I filled the Lifeliner up last Sunday and hit $88.50. Damn! Thank goodness Terri let me use the funeral home gas card after all, it is a promotional tool for the funeral home getting no pleasure from it on a personal level. She also paid for the magnetic signs too. I love her!

I can remember in high school, putting 50 cents worth of gas into the car, and driving all afternoon and having enough to get to school the next day.

Paul would have us believe that: 1) Cars and gas had been invented when he was in high school and 2) He went to school on two consecutive days. Hmmmmm :yankchain:

The first time I had to spend $50 on a fill-up for the '73,I put the receipt on the refrigerator as a reminder, and it stayed up for months.I'm pretty sure I'll be putting up a receipt for a C-note before very long.

But as a kid in the early '50s,I remember my dad asking the attendant to put "two dollars' worth" into our 1950 Kaiser Traveler, and it would last us a week.

the joy of owning a professional car cannot be measured in dollars spent for fuel the tears shed are realizing the other things you could have bought,,as this canuck sees it anyway....
