Funeral prossessions and escorts.

A while back we were discussing escorts and funeral processions. Found a article today about them and some of the article was done in Nashville, TN. The Statewide Escort Service is who we used at the SCI firm I worked at while going to Mortuary College back in 2002-03. The hearse in the photo is 95 or 96 Superior that was the last new hearse bought new by my bosses father-in law, Jewel W. Nave for Nave Funeral Home in Lebanon and is now in service with Mt Olivet Funeral Homes in Nashville which are owned by Stewart Enterprises. Heres the story link,

We actually had an excort from the St Louis PD the other day...normally we have a private company that has several black Suburbans and Crown Vics to break intersections and herd everybody. The Suburbans make it look like a presidential motorcade.
