Funeral movies

I was just thinking about the new movie "get low"
I remember years ago there were some very funny British movies about funeral's made in the 60's and 70's
can anyone name them ? also what other funeral movies out there that are worth tracking down and watching ?

lets see how many we can remember ?

there was one that I remember ...a british movie about two gay teenagers, an Austin Mini van, a body that kept disappering ...very funny

some very interesting British pro cars

How about "Back in Business". A cult 30 minute movies where two funeral directors operate a funeral home in a small town but business is bad. So as part of their pre-need package they offer to take the person out. Next thing you know, "Back in Business".

Harold and Maude is another cult classic.

Love the 59 hearse but the two of them "hooking up" is kinda sick.
Why would someone even make a movie with that in it ?!

All the Phantasm movies have a hearse in them. In Phantasm 3,they flip a pink and white mid-60's cadillac hearse, and they blow one up in Phantasm 4. What a shame!

Just Buried. I think it was filmed in Canada and all the hearses in the movie are Eureka. Here is a trailer, [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mat1V94zl4A"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mat1V94zl4A[/ame]

While it is not a "funeral movie" per se; I saw The Hospital with George C. Scott and Dianna Rigg the other day on TCM and at the end there was a gorgeous low top or combo 69 or 70 M-M or S&S with dual beacons in the closing scene.

For ambulances, how about Doc Hollywood- with Michael J. Fox, and others.

For funerals, how about My Girl- with Dan Akroid as the funeral director and Jamie Lee Curtis as the make up artist for the funeral home.

Now I "research" every not-currently-in-theater film before I bother watching. Few people had anything good to say on IMDB Forums about Get Low. However, I just watched it, and it was so good; that I think I need to own it.
