FOR SALE: 1947 A.J. MILLER 3-WAY ELECTRIC COACH PROJECT.
This is a great place to start for anyone looking for a restoration or hot rod project.
The coach has been disassembled down to a rolling body on frame. All removed parts were carefully bagged & tagged.
The tub is really very sound for it's history (many years sitting behind a barn). It will need new floors & rear wheel wells & other small body repairs as well. Interior is fairly complete minus cloth on walls & headliner. Has original seat. Dash is complete with rebuilt gauges (cleaned & converted to 12 volt to the tune of $1200.00)
Engine & trans. are gone. They were a ball of unsaveable rust.
Comes with extra front fenders from a 41. Comes with a clean, clear Wisconsin title still in the previous owners name.
I need $$$ for a new laptop. (going back to school at 60)
I really need $1000 from it, but will consider serious offers. It can't hurt to ask.
No delivery possible but I will help get it on your trailer at my place in Columbus, Ohio.

Thanks for looking, Cadillac Al

I have been told today that the execution day has been scheduled..... If this car isn't sold by August 12th, then all salable parts will be stripped off, and the car is headed to the crusher. Hate to see this happen to a historic vehicle, but its time has come to an end.

That Dodge A100 beside the Miller is cool too !

Dwayne

Good luck on getting that car back on the road
if that is what your plans are... custom rod or stock !

Dwayne, i was wondering to my self why the heck have you not bought that one. If it was that close to my home i would of had to drag it home my self.

I tried to bring one like that home befor my party, but the owner and i could not come together on the price. Man between the two of them a killer car could of been built.

When i seen that made me think about trying to do the deal on the both. And as you have seen i have enough projects, and am trying to get rid of some now.

But congrats on the purchase and thanks for saving that one for someone if you dont build it.:applause:

The hearse came from up by you Rocky... in Wisconsin. Al bought it 12 years ago off Ebay and fetched it himself with a trailer. He says it was a white-knuckle ride ALL the way home with that beast on the trailer! After hearing that I think a call to Ronks Towing is in order again.
I'm shooting for having it home next weekend. Will take some photos when it arrives. The lettering on the sides is in French... the story is it was a parade vehicle for a WW1 Veteran's group. They gutted the thing for lawn chairs and a beer keg in the back. It sat behind a barn for many years after the group all eventually passed away.

That in itself is historical the original Booze-Cruiser,forefather of the tailgate party. In its time it would have been neat to see,all the old vets,:my2cents:
