Front seat upholstery for '73 MM - Cadillac?

I need to have the seats of my 1973 MM Lifeliner rebuilt (springs/foam). If the covers are off I might as well replace them. Wondering if the front seat (see the pics) is a standard Cadillac or GM product, and if so, what year and from what? I'm sure I can find replacement reproductions of a stock seat upholstery rather than do a custom replacement.

Any suggestions/leads would be helpful.

Thanks.

It is a standard GM seat, however, the upholstery is unique to the body builder.

A bit differnet than my 73 Bill. I checked with a local guy to do my seats but he is unable to to the embossing like it current is. He could stitch it but didn't care for that.

one can get a generic cut for it from JC Whitney. they of course are only reselling but if you springs are in good shape and all you want to do is change the upholstery it is one way to go. the material on yours would be heavy duty like a taxicab or police car. but it is a stander configuration for caddys. so I know they have the pattern for them. I had a hard time convincing them that the seat in my 71 did not have the canter arm rest. but once I did the cover sent went on fine. there price was a lot better then the locale guys and I was doing the R&R work myself anyway.

My upholstery guy told me mine 64 Superior seat was a standard Coupe de Ville.....but fabric was Superior product.

This seat appears to have been covered in a heavy-duty vinyl material. Perhaps someone form the M-M Chapter has an old M-M color & trim book with material samples, descriptions and swatches. They could assist in identifying the correct color and material for you. I'd try contacting Tony Karsnia. I still believe that M-M procured the basic, unupholstered seat from Cadillac and these were from a Coupe De Ville.
